Beginning in the 1920s, the fertile seeds were sown in the 1950s and 1960s for Zen in the West. The Soto School has portrayed the events and the protagonists in a short video.

Taizan Maezumi Roshi, one of these protagonists, is the „grandfather“ of our Zen lineage in Germany.
